In cooperation with the Ministry of Productive Activities, the Italian Trade Commission ICE, local public bodies and private organisations, each year Confindustria Ceramica organises a series of events and activities abroad under the “Ceramic Tiles of Italy” banner for the purpose of supporting member companies and the Italian ceramic sector as a whole. Specially created for the purpose of representing the Italian ceramic tile industry worldwide, the “Ceramic Tiles of Italy” label is used to identify the main trade fairs promoted by the association (Cersaie and Coverings) as well as a series of activities including seminars for architects and designers, press conferences, exhibitions and conventions. Every year Confindustria Ceramica carries out intense institutional press campaigns aimed at the main ceramic sector and architecture magazines worldwide, using the “Ceramic Tiles of Italy” label to highlight the outstanding qualities of Italian ceramic tiles. “Ceramic Tiles of Italy” is also a partner in the Abitare Italia, Life in I Style project promoted by the Ministry of Productive Activities and the Italian Trade Commission ICE, an initiative that aims to promote the excellence of Italian design and the Italian interior design industry (including ceramic tiles) in important foreign markets, particularly the United States. Trade Fairs Promotion in international markets is one of the key tools used by the Italian ceramic industry to improve its competitiveness. As well as organising trade show events such as Cersaie and Coverings, Ceramic Tiles of Italy also maintains a presence at the most important exhibitions for the sector worldwide, coordinating the participation of Italian companies either on its own or in cooperation with the Italian Trade Commission. |
