Italian tiles are a very popular product amongst consumers and users worldwide, but exports are sometimes obstructed by artificial tariff and technical barriers put in place by the governments of consumer countries. In this age of globalisation, the processes of product promotion and the progressive opening of markets are becoming increasingly strategic activities. Given the importance of this activity, Assopiastrelle plays an essential role in promoting the excellence of the Italian ceramic tile industry worldwide and in carrying out lobbying and support actions for the represented sectors. The first of these activities is carried out under the “Ceramic Tiles of Italy” banner in cooperation with the Ministry of Productive Activities, the Italian Trade Commission ICE, local public bodies and private organisations. The second involves a presence on the committees of institutions at all levels, both nationally and internationally. |
